  I like their niche selection of products. More than just the standard fare, good prices and friendly staff.

  New to Stawell. Previously shopped at Woolworths or the supermarkets in Horsham. I try to support local communities and usually use IGA. Upon entering the store I noticed that the prices were substantially higher than when I had shopped last time at Woolworths. I then struggled to find quite a few of my usual shopping items as the range was very limited. I was ok at this point about my shop even though I knew it would be expensive. Once I reached the checkouts the only checkout that was manned was the the express lane, so I approached, and waited... then once it was my turn, even though 4 staff had seen me waiting I was asked to go to another checkout. I looked around and there were no lights on and no staff at the other other checkouts. The manager then quite abruptly told me, before I had even had a chance to say anything. “You have too many items”. I then proceeded to walk along the other checkouts feeling very belittled and disappointed in the rude manner that I had been treated. A staff member eventually approached and told me number 6, in an also belittling manner, to which I responded “you could have your light on” he laughed and said “yeah I guess”. All in all, a very horrible shopping experience, and I will never return to this store again. It took all my control not to dump the trolley full of shopping and walk out.

  Large store with good variety of product. Found gluten free products too.
